THORNE, MARY - Mary Ida Thorne (Gaudet) passed away peacefully at the age of 90, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, on December 18th, 2014. Mary was born Feb 4th, 1924 in Tignish, PEI. Daughter of late John and Delima Gaudet. Predeceased by brother Bill and sisters Dora and Marie. Beloved mother of Brenda, Eric, Bruce and Krista. She leaves behind five grandchildren Brian, Erika, Jonathan, Jackie and Aysa. Her loving, kind and gentle ways will be dearly missed by all. Her zest for life and unselfish manor will always remain in the hearts of her children. After retiring she loved to travel between Saint John, Ottawa and Calgary spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A private service will be held for the immediate family. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their kindness and support in her final days.
