Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, on Saturday December 20th, Mary Isabel McCarthy of Red Head Cove in her 74th year. Predeceased by her son Thomas McCarthy, parents Charlotte and Thomas Rice. Leaving to mourn, her beloved children: Rita and husband Adolfo, Dennis and wife Connie; grandkids: Thomas Jagger, Lola, Madeline, Adolfo and Aaron. Sister Helen, brothers, Robert, Brendan, Joseph and Edmund and all her extended family and friends. Special thanks to all the staff at the Carbonear General Hospital for their care and compassion during her time there. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at Noel's Funeral home in Western Bay on December 23rd from 2-8 p.m., with a service of remembrance to follow at 8 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted.
