Passed away into peace on Dec. 11, 2014 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial in St. Anthony, Mrs. Evelyn Wavey Wilcox of Roddickton in her 67th year. Evelyn leaves to mourn her husband Melvin, Roddickton; sons Morris and Darlene Wilcox, Roddickton, Benson and Philomena Wilcox, Main Brook, Eddie and Pearl Wilcox, Grand Falls, and Bradley Wilcox, Grande Prairie, Alberta; daughters Valda and Raymond Hancock, Roddickton, Dina Hancock, Roddickton, and Linda and Edward Hancock, Roddickton; sister Susie Hancock, Roddickton, as well as 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton, from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14 with Rev. Christopher R. Hewlett officiating. Burial followed the service at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
