DRUMMOND, ROWENA GERTRUDE - Rowena Gertrude Drummond of Geary, NB passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on December 22, 2014 at the age of 87. Born on April 19, 1927 a daughter of the late Talmadge and Ethel (Betteridge) Carr and wife of the late Eugene Drummond. She is survived by her sons Jerry (Carol), Ross (Edna), Brian (Sandy); daughters Bonnie Grace, Pat Mercier, Debbie Burtt (Bob); chosen daughter Pam Wilson (Craig Ronbeck); chosen son Hazen Carr; grandchildren Sherry, Eric, Michael, Geoffery, Jeremy, Jessica, Terry, Levene, Megan, Josh; great grandchildren Jillian, Ethan, Holly, Ella Rose, Carter, Katharine, Kodi, Austin, Logan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her cherished canine companion Heidi. A special mention and appreciation to friend Larry Carr. Rowena was predeceased by a granddaughter Jennifer, brothers Harold, Harley, Baden, Cecil, and Lee, sisters Beulah, Beryla, and Beatrice.
Following cremation, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Monday December 29, 2014 at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road at 2:00 PM with Archdeacon John Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in the Preston Carr Cemetery at a later date.
