THÉBEAU, LORRAINE (1927 - 2014) - Rogersville – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Lorraine Thébeau, at the age of 87, wife of the late Raymond Thébeau, of Rogersville. On December 24th, 2014, her family by her side, she went to be with her Lord and Savior. Born April 27th, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and the late Catherine Haché. She is survived by her sons: François (Patricia), Jean (Brenda) of Nackawic; her daughters: Catherine Richard (Gary) of Dieppe, Lodianne Pelletier (Normand) of Kingston, NB; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her sisters: Marie, Prescille, Thérèse (Alderic) Cormier, Velma; her brothers: Rosimond, George (Aldona), Lucien (Vitaline), Eddé (Huberte Boucher); her sisters-in-law: Dorina Goguen, Rose LeBlanc, Annette & Pat Doiron, Elmo & Eliza Robichaud, Vital (Paula Thébeau), and hundreds of nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. She attended Saint-François-de-Sales Parish, a very devout Catholic. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and sister-in-law. She always had an open door for friends, family or strangers, and always food ready. She loved to cook.
She was an avid seamstress, quilter, also loved to knit and crochet.
She was always smiling, good natured, would stop anyone who had a child to talk to them. She helped the poor by making and selling afghans and giving the products to Saint-Vincent-de-Paul charity.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday December 28th, 2014 at 2pm, at the Salon ‘La Colombe’, 11325 route 126 of Rogersville (775-1999 / lacolombe@nb.aibn.com). Funerals will be celebrated at St-François-de-Sales RC Church of Rogersville, on Monday December 29th, at 11am. Visiting hours: Sunday from 2pm to 4pm, and 7pm to 9pm, and on Monday from 9:30 until the departure for the funerals. A donation can be made to the Foyer Assomption (palliative) in Rogersville.
