POIRIER, YVONNE - Yvonne, 99, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Villa following a lengthy illness.
Born September 4, 1915 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Laurent and Roseanne (Breau) Hachey. Yvonne was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus Council 1310, and a past employee at Vail’s Laundry. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Rose Allain (Lloyd) and her son, Maurice (Debbie) all of Moncton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Florence O’Neil (Dennis) of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, William Poirier; two sons: Freddie and David; many brothers and sisters.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30 at 11 am. Visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Tuesday from 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Yvonne, a contribution to the Providence Foundation (Villa) would be appreciated.
