Passed away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, December 26, 2014 after a lengthy illness, Capt. Robert Linscott Crouse at the age of 72. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Helen Crouse and two special uncles Lepean and Stanley Crouse. Leaving to mourn his chief mate Joan; his very dear friend Kenneth Mauger of Sydney, Nova Scotia who donated a kidney and gave him an extra 7 years of life; his two brothers Kendall (Sharon) of Kentville, Nova Scotia and Gulfport, Florida and Mark (Barbara) of Upper Le Have, Nova Scotia; sister-in-law Verna (Frank, deceased), Madonna Johnson (Jim), Patsy Tricco (Ed), Agatha Bannon (Rick); brothers-in-law Don Bennett (Ontario) and Richard Bennett (Mary). Very close niece Cindy Blackmore (Craig) and nephews Christopher and Ricky Bennett. Many more dear nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Many dear friends and retired colleagues from D.F.O. and Canadian Coastguard. Special friends and neighbors from our winter home in Beachway Park, Gulfport, Florida. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday, December 28th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Monday, December 29th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Waterford Hospital or the Health Science Centre.
