It is with great sadness that the family of the late GERALD LETIEC of Marystown announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Kathleen of 46 years; daughters, Wannetta Mills (Dion) of Marystown and Vanessa Linthorne (Cory) of Georgetown; sisters, Margaret Doyle (Anthony) of St. John’s, Anita Saint (Patrick) of Marystown and Susanne Letiec of Ontario; brothers-in-law, Patrick Drake (Sheila), John Drake (Mary), Joe Drake (Rita), Ray Drake (Irene), Aloysius Drake (Joan), Fred Drake and Brian Drake (Judy); sisters-in-law, Geraldine Letiec, Patricia Letiec, Lillian (Arch Dober), Anne (Gary Peterson), Lee (Russell Stacey), Brenda (Chris Hannam) and Patricia (Brendan Power); 3 Grandchildren, Owen Mills, Madison & Colton Linthorne; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Hyacinth Letiec; brothers, John, Robert, Peter & Joe; sisters, Blanche & Theresa; granddaughter, Mackenzie Mills; parents-in-law, Austin & Angela Drake.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Monday, December 29, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. Flowers gratefully accepted.
