SQUIRES, Douglas –Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, January 11, 2009, Douglas Squires, aged 59 years. Predeceased by his father Robert, mother Marjorie, infant baby brother, brother Clarence, brother-in-law David Lawrence, niece Kayla Hicks. Leaving to mourn son Brian, brother Robert, sisters: Rhoda (John), Edith, Lydia (daughter Leslie), Violet (Pete), Laura (Clyde), Christine (Ernie, Thelma (Derek), Carol (Lorne); loving sister-in-law Jeanette as well as a large number of nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, January 13th from 12:00 noon - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 14th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Philip’s Anglican Church.
