It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terry Gillis on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late William 'Bill' and Theresa (Ford) Gillis.
Surviving are his sister, Donna (Wayne) Haryett, Edmonton; brothers, Dan (Ellen), Milford, N.S., Archie (Rose Carmel), Halifax and Billy (Leona), Glace Bay. Also surviving are nieces, Rose Marie, Kelly Anne, Kerri, Robyn, Peggy, Dawn, Danielle, Lorie; nephews, Jim, Rob, Sean and Greg.
Terry was predeceased by his parents; a son, Jonathan and his brother, Robert Angus in infancy.
As per Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Interment will be held at a later date.
