Date de décès : 28 décembre 2014
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Lillian MacEachen on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at the Northside Community Guest Home, North Sydney.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Beatrice (Bradley) Howell.

Music played a very large part in her life. She spent many enjoyable nights as a judge at Stevie's Jamboree. Lillian was an avid reader of the history of Canada and had a special fondness for a good game of tarabish, bingo or jeopardy.
Lillian is survived by her pride and joy, son Geoff MacEachen (Georgina), Halifax; stepsons, Jason and Chris Richards; brothers, Kenneth, Gordon and William; sister, Marjorie, many nieces and nephews, and was especially close to Troy and Jimmy.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
