Lloyd Rogers
ROGERS, LLOYD - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Lloyd George Rogers. He died at the Veteran’s Health Unit on Friday, January 2nd, 2015. Born Hillsborough, NB, he was the son of the late Harry and Lottie (Mullins) Rogers and the husband of the late Doris (Smith) Rogers. Lloyd was a WWII veteran having served in in NB Tank Regiment for five years. He later worked in the Oil Field in Albert Country where he retired in 1978. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by his son, Gerald of Fredericton; one daughter, Shirley Craft (Robert) of New Maryland; four grandchildren, David and Steven Craft, Debbie Lister, Tylar Rogers, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the J. A. McAdam Memorial; Chapel on Thursday, January 8th, 2015 at 11:00 am. The Ven. John Shape will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairhaven Cemetery.
