Burbidge, Bruce Leslie, age 69, of Windsor, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on August 13, 1945, in Windsor, he was the son of the late James and Alice (O’Leary) Burbidge. Bruce was a hard worker and a member of the International Labour Union Local 615. He was always willing to lend a hand, as long as you did it his way. Bruce loved his family gatherings each summer that his children named ‘BruceFest’. Bruce is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Faye Smith; daughters, Shelley Card, Black Falds, Alta.; Dawn (Ricky) Coldwell, Melanson; son, Bruce Jr, Windsor; grandsons, Jason (Colleen) Card, and Evan Card (Caleigh), granddaughters, Hayley (Thane) Borden, and Caitlyn Coldwell (Nick); step-grandchildren, Melissa (Dennis) Ruggles, Andrew Coldwell (Laura); great-grandchildren, Julia and Olivia; brothers, James (Nadine); Glen; Keith (Marg); Ronald (Lorna); Johnny (Hildie); Kevin; sisters, Betty (Bill) Penny; Dolrita; Anna (Grant) Baxter; Valerie (Paul) Gale; Alice (Paul) Benoit; Marnie (J.R.) Spinney; Kathy. Bruce was predeceased by his parents and twin sisters in infancy. Special thanks to Dr. James Leahy and the Palliative Care Team of Hants Community Hospital.
