Suddenly at home on Friday, January 2, 2015, of Clayton Martin of Brudenell, age 61 years.
Loving, wonderful and ever so kind husband to Sherry Spriet Martin; loving and devoted father to Jennifer Martin (Matthew MacKenzie); wonderful stepfather to Nicole, Kyle (Michelle Kennedy) and Jordan Kacsmarik. Clayton is the son of Lucinda (Dickie) and the late Lloyd Martin and son-in-law of Joseph and Irene Spriet. He is also survived by brothers - Barry (Sharleen) and Donald (Lorraine Buell) and sister - Debbie Thomas (Charlie - deceased); brother-in-law of Lori and Terry Trainor, Valerie Spriet and Jim Senko and David and Heather Spriet; uncle to Billy Martin (Stephanie), Marybeth Martin, Vanessa Martin, Mike Thomas (Nancy), Laurie Brehaut (Ryan), Terrance (Ashley), Matthew and Christopher Trainor, Sam Senko, Maddie and Owen Spriet and grand-uncle to Hudson, Noah, Reeve, Charlie-Grace and Parker.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Sunday, January 4, 2015, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 5 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Montague at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
