It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Candy on Dec. 31, 2014, at Buchanan Memorial Hospital, Neil’s Harbour, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born Feb. 21, 1971 in Inverness, Candy was the daughter of Connie Moore (Sonny Walker) of Inverness and the late Douglas Daisley (Yvonne Daisley) of South Harbour.
Candy was predeceased by her husband, Mark Fraser. The love Mark and Candy shared truly was remarkable and inspiring. She was his everything and he was hers.
Candy is survived by her birth mother, Terry Moore (Lenny Beaton); son, Chester Burchell; daughters, Kasey and Haylee Burchell, stepdaughters, Lynda Fraser and Kristen Karina; brothers, Sheldon Daisley, Aaron Walker, Shamus Walker, Jonathon Beaton and Aaron Fraser; sisters, Trina Desmond, Natasha MacLeod, Katie Beaton and Carla Fraser. Candy is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Maisy.
Memorial service to celebrate the life of Candy Estelle Fraser will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Dingwall, with Fr. Jake Andrea officiating. Private family burial will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Candy may be made to the North of Smokey Hospice Palliative Care Society.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
