CAMPBELL, BETTY – Surrounded by her family Betty “Joan” Campbell passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Rodman and Gladys (Vail) MacLeod. Betty will be missed by daughters Heather Walsh of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB and Nancy Campbell of Fredericton, NB; sons Douglas (Lisa) of Saint John, NB and David (Mary) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by loving husband Ralph Campbell.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with Betty’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Betty’s memory can be made to IWK Children’s Hospital or to the charity of one’s choice.
