Fisher, Myra Mary - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the evening of January 5, at the age of 89. Predeceased by husband Sergeant David Fisher and brothers Giles, Harold and Tom Smith. Myra will be sadly missed by her beloved son Michael Fisher; daughter-in-law Shannon, adored grandchildren Jake and Emily, special niece Sharon and great niece Caighlan Smith and best friend Elizabeth Bolt. Myra will also be missed by extended family, nephew Dave (Paula) Smith and his children Rebecca and Andrew Smith, her nieces Eleanor (Len) Thorne and their daughter Karen and Elizabeth (Cliff) Thorne and nephew Mark and Emma. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Eileen Smith and her family. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue location, visiting hours from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday January 7, and 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday January 8th. The funeral is scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2 p.m. at Barrett's Hamilton Avenue location. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Myra's life.
