It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Blanchard announce his passing at his residence on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife Fern; children: Gail Blanchard (Michael), Tim, Marie Pacheco (Jose) and Nancy White (Brazil) all of Kitchener, Ont.; stepchildren: Nancy White (Ellis), Cox’s Cove, Patti Penney (David), Irishtown, Velroy (Michelle), McIvers, Inez Blanchard, Cox’s Cove and Michael (Charlene), Lourdes; sisters: Ada White and Judy White (Charles); sister-in-law Jocelyn Blanchard, McIvers; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Pearl Park, brothers-in-law: Randy (Marilyn), Alvin (Lorraine), Scott (Philomena), Rodney (Marina), Quincy (Margaret), Noel (Tracey), Floyd (Christina), Monty Green and Roland Park; sister-in-law Phyllis White (Edward); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John Thomas and Edna Blanchard, brother Bertram Blanchard, sisters Mary White and Katie Blanchard, brothers-in-law Martin White and Isaac Benoit, father-in-law Stanley Park, sisters-in-law Darlene Green and Sandra Green, step-granddaughter Erica White. Friends may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
