CARR, MARGARET - Margaret Carr, 90, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born March 21, 1924 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Délima (Landry) Williams. She is survived by two daughters: Linda Goguen of Moncton and Betty Hicks (Ken) of Hamilton; three grandchildren: Lisa, Giselle and Julie; seven great-grandchildren: Gabrielle, Aeron, Jessica, Justin, Troy, Kyle and Cassidy; a great-great-granddaughter, Harmony; one brother, Ronnie of Moncton; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Carr (1978); her sisters and brothers: Arthur, Alice, Edward, Johnny and Lloyd (Shirley).
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre and Crematorium, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm; Friday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, on Friday January 9th at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
