ADAMS, MABEL - It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Mabel Adams on January 1, 2015.
Mabel was born on February 1, 1924. She was the eight of 12 children born to Walter and Pauline King. In 1951 she married Cliff Adams and they had three children - Joan, Doug and Jacqueline. Doug married Dixie Ratke in 1984 and they have two daughters - Kari and Kimberlee.
Mabel was predeceased by her parents and then by Cliff in 2002. Sister and brothers who predeceased Mabel include Anne (George) Patterson, Fred (Vivian) King, Agnes (Al) Parkinson, Henry (Carmel) King, Ethel (Charlie) Stenhouse, Wally King, Violet (Bob) Dickie, Stanley (Marg) King.
Mabel is survived by her children and granddaughters, Martha (Bob) Henshaw, Mildred (Clarence) Grant, Ron (Louise) King and numerous nieces and nephews.
A remembrance service will he held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Sceptre Hall starting at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will follow.
