FLAM (MILLS), NINA MARY - Nina Mary Flam (Mills), passed away peacefully at her home in Newcastle, N.B. on Friday, January 09, 2015
surrounded by many of her loving children and grandchildren. Nina was born in Hardwicke, N.B. on July 9, 1925. She was predeceased by her parents William Albert and Agnes (Potter) Mills; brothers George, Harold,
Glen, and Guy; sisters Althea, Della, Joan and Wilma; and her much loved husband Bernard and sister- in-law Anne Flam. She is survived by her brothers Daniel, John and Paul; her sisters Jean Fitzpatrick and Margaret Poley; and her children Natalie (Kathryn Burke), Trudy (Gene Hauta), Susan (Moishe Sadofsky), Nancy (David MacLean), and Agnes,
as well as grandchildren Anna Sadofsky; Daniel (Naomi) Knickle; Laura
Knickle; Curt Hauta, Alisha (Jon) Dueck, Josh (April) Hauta, and Jay Hauta; greatgrandchildren Mason Dueck and Madyson Knickle. Our family would like to thank the nurses and home care workers of the
ExtraMural Pallitive Care program, Dr. Gerard Losier and Dr. Praba and other health care staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital for their compassionate and sensitive care of our mother during this last year.
The funeral will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home (Paradise Row) in Saint John, N.B. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
