PATTERSON, EARLE ABNER - Earle A. Patterson of Harvey, York Co., NB passed away January 11, 2015 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Earle was born on December 4, 1927 at Harvey, NB, a son of the late Hazen and Pearle (Coburn) Patterson. Earle is survived by a son, Dennis Patterson (Nancy), Harvey, York Co., NB; his special friend, Jackie Swan; five grandchildren, Andrew Stairs (Nicole), Karen Phillips (Jaret), Kathy Sartoris (Jay), Brent Patterson and David Patterson (Ashlyn); seven great-grandchildren, Ethan and Aydon Stairs, Sam and Ben Phillips, Emma and Livvy Dewar and Sawyer Paterson; a brother, Paul Patterson (Rose Marie); a sister-in-law, Mabel Patterson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Selena (Swan) Patterson; a daughter, Patty Lee Colford; two brothers, Coburn Paterson and his wife Ruth and Harold Patterson; and a brother-in-law, Glendon Swan.
Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB with visiting hours Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey, NB on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 3 pm with Rev. Anne Boudreau and Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment will be later at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
