The death occurred peacefully surrounded by family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Jan. 8, 2015, of Raymond Perry, St. Edward aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Thelma Perry (nee Doucette). He was born in St. Edward on Aug. 15, 1930, the son of the late Eddie and Emeline Perry. Dear father to Edward (Shelley) Perry, Summerside; David Perry, Hamilton, Ont.; Judy (Tony) Gallant, Brocton and Andy (Sherry) Perry, Alberton. Loving grandfather to Michael, Darcy, Melissa, Miranda, Stephanie, Bryan, Ryan, Dustin, Jared, Brandon and Tyson Perry and Cory, Jamie, Amy Lynn and Tyler Gallant; great-grandfather to Rayisa, Noah, Julian, Ivy, Madison, Avery, Carter, Chloe, Abby, Payton and Aiden. He is survived by brothers and sisters Eva Allain, Egmont Bay; Johnny (Betty) Perry, Bedeque; Herby (Dot) Perry, St. Edward and Thelma (Isadore) Bernard, St. Edward. He is also survived by brother and sisters-in-law Esther (Richard) Michalowski, Florida; Anita (late Jack) Barrett, Charlottetown, Adrian (Shirley) Doucette, Ebbsfleet and Frances (late Bernie) Allain, Brockton, Mass. He was predeceased by his parents Eddie and Emeline, brothers George, Wilfred and two sisters Lucy and Julia in infancy, brothers-in-law Elmer Allain, Robert Doucette, Frederick Doucette, sisters-in-law Olive Perry, Roseline Peters and father and mother-in-law Joseph and Lucille Doucette. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception Church Repair Fund would be greatly appreciated.
