The family of the late EILEEN WALSH of Lewin’s Cove, formerly of Lawn, announces her peaceful passing surrounded by family, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the age of 70. Leaving to celebrate her life and memory are her husband, Carl Walsh of 53 years; sons, Wade Walsh (Tammy Wheaton) of St. John’s, Carl Walsh Jr. (Judy) of St. John’s and Ian Walsh (Anne) of Fort Mill, South Carolina; daughters, Gwen Edwards (Gerald Coady) of Burin, Lynn Sullivan (Glenn) of St. John’s, Melaine Comeau (Andre) of Lewin’s Cove and Melissa Sleep (Scott) of St. John’s; sisters, Sue Tarrant (Andy), Kathy Roul (Mario Jarvis), Ellen Rogers (Jim), Madeline Edwards, Laura Flannigan and Mercedes Clarke; brothers, William Roule (Eileen), Robert Roul (Gerry) and Freeman Roul (Esther); 15 Grandchildren, Jourda (Jordan), Jenelle (Gabe), Gary John (Kayla), Mitchell (Maria), Kelsey, Shea (Ashley), Staci, Logan, Luke, Connor, Sara, Andrew, Breanna, Alyssa & Emily; 2 Great-grandchildren, Miah Jane & Isabella; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen & Edward Roul; sister, Anna Mary Drake; brothers-in-law, Ernest Drake, Edward Edwards, Cyril Flannigan & Paul Clarke.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn, on Wednesday, January 7, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation followed.

In Eileen’s memory flowers gratefully accepted.
