We, Jim’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all who supported us during this difficult time. We thank those who travelled from near and far, all who called especially Cyril in N.B. and Arlene in Truro. Thanks to those who visited, sent food, cards, on-line condolences and donations in honour of Jim. Special thanks to Father Ray Huntley who celebrated Mass, Deacon Lorne MacNeil who came to our home and Deacon Leo Penny for his prayers at the interment, the C.W.L. for a delicious lunch, the K.O.C. for the candle holder with their symbol and Jim’s picture on it. Many thanks to the Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers and Geralyn and Michelle for bringing up the offertory. Pallbearers were Arnie, Collie, Glenn, Lester, Lyndon and Sammy. Special thanks to readers Karen, Lester, Lyndon and granddaughter Megan. Some very helpful people were Allen, Mary and Valerie from Medigas, Helen and Shawna who provided valuable information, Frank who removed some plants and David and Gloria for keeping our walkways clear the last two winters. A heartfelt thanks to V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home especially Basil Sr. and Basil Jr. for their compassion and professionalism.
