It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Karen Cecilia Morrison on Jan. 10, 2015 at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of Mina (Gardiner) Gillis.
Surviving are daughters, Kathy, Bridget Hopewell; sister, Jackie (Gary) Whitney; brothers, Robert (Pat) Gardiner, David (Brenda) Krewenki and granddaughter, Amanda .
There will be no visitation, Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank Dr. MacNeil, Dr. Ellerker and staff of 3rd floor of the Glace Bay Hospital, for the wonderful care, that Karen received.
