Coward
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on January 8, 2015 at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s, JOSHUA COWARD age 100 years of Greenspond, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by his wives; Ellen (1993) and Ann (2000), sister; Emily Butt (2006) and daughter-in-law; Audrey (Briffett) Coward (2010). Left with fond memories of a wonderful father and great card player are his children; Florence Young (Erle) of Toronto, Daphne Duffy (Roy) of Dartmouth, Bill (Donna) of Dartmouth, Art (Alice) of Fall River, Martin (Karen) of Winnipeg, Stella Brown (Wayne) of St. John’s and Yvonne Walsh (Mike) of St. John’s. Also left with great memories of Poppy are 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral service took place on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with Lieutenants Anne and Randy Holden officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith cemetery, Shambler’s Cove. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to The Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s.
