The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, of Peter Michael Sauer of Savage Harbour, age 74 years. Peter immigrated to Canada in 1953 from Germany and came to P.E.I. in 1955. Brother-in-law of Clara Sauer; uncle to Fred Sauer, Wendy (Albert) MacDonald, Marion (Terrence) MacDonald and Tony (Sophie) Sauer. Predeceased by his brother, George Sauer. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment later in the People\'s Cemetery, Mount Stewart. If so desired, memorials to the Parkinson Foundation or the People\'s Cemetery, Mount Stewart, would be appreciated.
