The death occurred at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, of Vera Forbes, of Summerside, aged 95 years. Born in South West Lot 16, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Mary (Forbes) Yeo. Survived by her son Allan (Norma) Forbes, Stratford; daughter Kay (Bruce) Lewis, DeSable; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Gordon Yeo, Summerside; and by sisters-in-law Bertie Thompson and Grace Yeo. Predeceased by her husband Erskine Forbes; and by brothers Wendell and John Yeo. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to the Lot 16 United Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
