Bos, Theo (Ted) P., Age 68, of Bridgeville, NS passed away peacefully on Jan. 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Voorburg, the Netherlands, Theo was a son of the late Henoch and Lena Bos.
He was predeceased by brothers Kees, Huib, Henry, Henoch, and sister Haddy.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Katherine (Johnson), sisters Trudy (Isabel Urlings) and Cathy Patnovic, daughter Kimberly Frances (Shannon Allen), sons Theodore Peter Henoch (Kelly Johnson) and Edward Charles “Ian”, grandchildren Kirsten, Dustin, Jordan, Joseph, Jesse as well as extended family Bud (Thelma) Macpherson and Wayne (Susan) Mackay along with several nieces and nephews.
Theo was a proud Canadian who moved here in 1965, married the love of his life and spent 47 happy years building a life together with her.
Theo was a successful entrepreneur for close to 30 years before retiring and starting his second career as a bus driver for the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board.
These were some of his happiest years, building relationships with the children as well as his fellow bus drivers and he smiled broadly until his last day recounting stories and memories.
Cremation to take place.
The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Private burial will take place at Bridgeville Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theo’s name to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society, through which he received such compassionate care.
