Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Placentia Health Care Center in his 80th year Daniel Gerald Traverse of Ferndale. Predeceased by his wife Bernadette, father Aloysius and mother Gertrude, twin sisters Kitty and Theresa. Leaving to mourn daughters Barbara (Fred) and Alfreda (Mark), sons Terry (Evelyn) and Robert (Betty), grandchildren: Jason (Danette) Renee (Chris), Krystal (Amy), Jeff (Kayla), Vicky (Johnathon), Brad (Melissa), Justin (Renee) and Jamie (Ashley), great grandchildren: Lily, Alanna, Evan, Rachael, Blake, Logan, and Emma, sisters: Genny, Imelda (Kelson) and Bernice, brothers: Gordon (Bridget), Frank (Rose), Neil (Glenda) and Derm (Mert), sisters in law: Barbara Butler, Carmel Diamond and Beatrice Moss, brothers in law: Harold Dower and Gordon Dower, his guardian angel here on earth Debbie Short (Jerome), special family friends Nick Traverse (Janet), Darlene Connors (Marty) and Yvonne Adams, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, Jan. 26th at 2:00 pm.
