Suddenly, at home in Pisquid, the passing of Ivan Allan Edward Peters, age 65, husband of Wanda (Clyne) Peters, occurred on Saturday, January 24, 2015.
Born in Charlottetown, 1949, he was the son of the late Ivan and Lucy “Mae” (MacKenzie) Peters. Ivan served in the Military for 26 years. He is survived by his children, Ivan (Linda), Selena Hiebert; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marian (Harold) Mullen, Jack (Rose), Reg (Marlene), Rosemarie (Anthony) O’Brien; brothers and sisters-in-law; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ivan was predeceased by a son at infancy; sister ,Valerie MacLeod; and a infant sister, Marilyn Peters.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visitation on Monday, January 26, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Montague, on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at 10 a.m., weather permitting, (Storm date Wednesday 10 a.m.). Interment to take place at a later date in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Sturgeon.
