Passed suddenly away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by his parents: James & Anna Coles; brothers: Jack and Leonard; and sister Bride. Leaving to mourn his sisters: Dorothy, Cecilia (Al), Marjorie O'Mara (Frank), and Shirley Seward; brother Fred; brother-in-law Roy Noftall; special nieces Amber & Stephanie and nephews Todd & Scott; also a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staffs of the Dialysis Unit at Health Sciences Centre and St. Clare's, and the staff of 5East St. Clare's. Visitation will be at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, January 30th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Memorial service to be held at Barrett's Chapel on Saturday, January 31st, at 10:00am. Interment to take place at later date.
