Peacefully, with her daughter at her side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, of A. Blanche (MacLeod) Heaney of Clinton and Kensington, aged 82 years. Born in Irishtown on July 18, 1932, daughter and the last surviving member of the late James and Lina (Tuplin) MacLeod. Wife of the late Eric Heaney. Mother of Joanne Heaney and husband David McCourt of South Freetown and Paul and wife Kim Heaney, Urbainville. Grandmother to Danielle Pearson and husband Philippe Bibeau and great-grandmother to Charles Alex Bibeau. Sister-in-law of Louise Heaney, Gloria (Hugh) MacRae and Susan (Don) Trenholm. Aunt of Donna (Orest) Maskowey, Betty MacLeod and many Heaney nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother George and his wife Marguerite and their son Wendell MacLeod and brother-in-law Robert Heaney. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Margate United Cemetery.
