Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Veterans Memorial Pavilion on Saturday, January 31, 2015, Ernest O'Quinn, formerly of Stephenville, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his parents, John and Kathleen O'Quinn; 2 brothers: George and Francis O'Quinn; and his sister, Mildred O'Quinn. Leaving to mourn, his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Mabel Louise O'Quinn (nee Butler); many nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of special friends all over the world - too numerous to mention, but you all know who you are and how precious each and every one of you were to Ernest. A very special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at the Health Sciences Complex and at the Veterans Pavilion. Your care and compassion will be forever remembered. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, February 2 and Tuesday, February 3 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A reception will take place at Barrett's Reception Centre after the cemetery service, to continue celebrating the life of Ernest O'Quinn.
