It is with great sadness that the family of the late MADGE FARRELL of Little Bay announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Thursday, January 29th, 2015, at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son, Peter Kelly (Madonna) of Little Bay; daughters, Mary Edwards (Larry) of Churchill Falls and Bonnie Matchem (Dave) of St. John’s; brother, Lo Kelly (Kay) of Little Bay; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Kelly, Katie, Rebecca & Riley Edwards, Sam & Hope Matchem; 3 great-grandchildren, Amber, Alyssa & Joseph Kelly Jr.; sister-in-law, Rose Kelly; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. The family extends a special thanks to the Staff of the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and her homecare workers for the care and attention given to their mother. She was predeceased by her husband, Cosmas Farrell; parents, Peter & Mary Kelly; brothers, Ned & Dick Kelly.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Monday, February 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay. In Madge’s memory flowers gratefully accepted.
