Leigh passed away peacefully at home in Calgary, surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Violet Frizzell, and his brother, Blair. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his best friend, Wendy Leckie. Dearly loved and missed by his children, Dawn (Darren) and Erin of P.E.I. and Kris (Kiki) of Calgary; much loved Grampy Leigh to his two grandsons, Monty and Christian Desreux of P.E.I.; fondly remembered by sister, Audrey (Alex) MacPhee, of P.E.I.; brothers, Errol (Peggy) of California, Delmar of Calgary; his children's mother, Donna; sister-in-law, Cheryl; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date on Prince Edward Island. Memorial donations may be made directly to Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.E.I. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
