KING, AZILDA
At Fredericton, Sunday, February 1st, 2015, Mrs. Azilda "Ida" King of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 101 years. She was the wife of the late Emile King. Born at Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in 1913, she was a daughter of the late Pierre and Marie (Girard) Deschenes.
She is survived by eight children, Bertha (late Antoine Mazerolle) of Saint-Leonard, Norman of St-Leonard-Parent, Ralph of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Robert (Colombe) of Saint-Andre, Noella (Roger Pommet) of Riviere-du-Loup, Roland of Fredericton, Yvette (Dick Cyr) of Grand Falls, Velma (Rene Emond) of Quebec, daughter-in-law, Mariette (late Harvey) of Riviere-du-Loup, 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, sister and brothers, Germaine (late Albert Beaulieu) of Riviere-Verte, Guillaume (Lorraine) and Fidele (late Marthe) of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, as well as nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen, a son, Harvey, two grandsons, Guy and Ralph Jr., as well as brothers and sisters, Edmond, Albert, Sylvio, Clarence, Lawrence, Lea and Isabelle.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Her funeral service will be held Friday, February 6th at 11 a.m. from the St-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church, St-Leonard-Parent with interment in the parish cemetery.
