ADAIR, EARL A.
1931 - 2015
Earl A. Adair of Lower Coverdale passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital with his twin daughters by his side on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Born in Petitcodiac NB, he was the son the late Tom and Edna (Wade) Adair.
Earl was a member of The Lower Coverdale Baptist Church, and he retired from CNR with over 41 years of service. He recently received his 50 year pin as a member of Coverdale Lodge #52 F & AM, a member of the Shepody Fish and Game Association, The New Brunswick Progressive Conservative Party. Earl had a great passion for nature and the outdoors, whether it be camping, hunting, four wheeling and spending those cherished moments with his grandchildren.
He is survived by daughters; Jennifer Adair-McCleary (Bill Paddock) of Lower Coverdale and Julie Beers (Bill Whitters) of Sussex and Margo Adair (Brian Cromwell), sisters; Hannah Cain of Petitcodiac, Martha Gautreau of Vancouver, and Dawnella Fraser of Sussex, one brother Tom Adair of Gibson, BC, five grandchildren; Andrew, Christopher, Matthew, Amy and Jesse and a special friend Mildred Beaumont.
Besides his parents Earl is predeceased by his wife Lelia (Steeves), brothers; Allison, Vaughan, James and Gerald, son in law, Daryl Beers.
The family welcome friends and relatives to Cobb’s Funeral Home And Cremation Centre, 330 Whitepine Rd.; Riverview (869-2007) on Friday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, with Coverdale Lodge No. 52 F&AM holding a masonic service from the funeral home on Friday at 6:15 PM. The service celebrating Earl’s life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Hammond officiating. The interment will be held at Wilmot Cemetery at a later date.
The Family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff at Fundy Royal Manor and to dear friend, Wanda Richard for the care and compassion show to our dad.
