Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Friday, January 16, 2009, of Mrs. Dorothy E. (Dot) (nee Flynn) Rush of Charlottetown in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank (Gus) Rush and dear mother of Gertrude (Frank) Isaac. Also survived by grandchildren, Donna, Sean, Raymond (Joy), Darlene, Kevin (Betty), Wayne (Molly), Michael (Rhonda); great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Michelle (Paul), Mark (Linda), Steven, Natasha (Jerry), Kristen, Angela, Christopher, Katherine, Chad, Travis, Robert and Grace; great-great-grandchildren, Brodie and Keegan; sister-in-law, Kate Flynn; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, James and Gertrude (nee Wilson) Flynn; son and daughter-in-law, Francis and Emma Rush; sisters and brother, Margaret, Joseph, Rita, Mary and Theresa; granddaughter, Frances Ann. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Monday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I. Humane Society.
