TRECARTIN, ALTA FERNE
The death of Alta Trecartin occurred at Kennebec Manor on February 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Alta was born on September 16, 1925 in Caribou, Maine to parents Beverly and Elizabeth (Patterson) Ferris. She was last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Trecartin and is survived by her two children; Dan (Pricilla) Trecartin of Quispamsis and Cindy (Terry) Yearwood of Saint John and; grandchildren Deanna, Emily, Katlyn, Marli, Natasha, Jennifer; great-grandchildren Simeon, Esther, Kaloyana, Gavriel, Kelsey, Jessica, Eric, Ryan, Taylor, Luc; several nieces and nephews.
She was totally devoted to her family and loved to be involved in all family activities. Her legacy was her family which included her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Douglas Avenue Christian Church.
Alta’s family will be receiving guests at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Friends are invited to a family celebration of her life on Monday February 9 at 10 am at Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
