It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the passing of David Waine Goyan, on February 5, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional hospital with loving family at his side.
Born in Toronto he was the son of the late Victor and Elsie Goyan.
Dad was employed as a Taxi driver in Glace Bay/Sydney area. He was also a big Monteral Canadians fan and a Toronto Blue Jay fan.
David is survived by mother Elsie, daughter Alicia (James) Burns; son David J; grandchildren Jessica, Caylee, and James Jr.; sister Lillian (Garfield) Anderson, and beloved Aunt Loretta Sparrow.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by son Christopher in infancy; brothers Eddie, Kenny, Jerry; sister Carol Ohalloran and special grandparents Joseph and Helen Deveau.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 9, 2015 from 7-9 p.m., at Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday Feb. 10, 2015, 2 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to the Doctors and Staff of the ICU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
