(World War II Veteran) HMS Navy, Marsh, Eliol Born March 22, 1920 - Passed peacefully away on February 6, 2015 at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion in St. John's aged 94. Predeceased by his wife Winnifred (2004) and son Donald (2000), as well as his parents John and Phoebe Marsh of Dunfield, Trinity Bay along with 12 brothers and sisters. Survived by daughters Brenda Billard (Gregory), Pearl Snelgrove (Clayton), Neta Anthony (David), Heather Slade (Robert) and sons Melvin (Beatrice), Clayton (Brenda), Wayne (Elsie Greene), Ross (Rhonda Thomas) and Bruce (Dawn). Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a large extended family. Many thanks for the compassionate care shown by the doctors, nurses and staff at the Pavilion. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
