It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving wife, dedicated mother, wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, Phyllis O'Keefe, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on February 6, 2015, age 80. Predeceased by daughter Tina Marie; parents Agnes and William Burton; brothers: Patrick, Thomas and Edward; and sister Almena Reynolds. Leaving to mourn her husband Lawrence; children: Anthony, Joan Lundrigan (Lawrence), Lawrence (Elizabeth), Linda O'Keefe, Bernice Mallay (Gary), Karen Pardy (Gary), and Almena Warren (James); twelve grandchildren: Stephen, Carlynn, Kyle, Keisha, Tiffany, Tyler, Angela, Michele, Jonathan, Andrew, Ashley and Jamie; five great-grandchildren: Adara, Eden, Ryder, Ty, and Faith; sisters: Mary Brenton (Aloysious), Adella English (William, deceased), and Florence Donaway (Edward); sisters-in-law: Annie Brushett, Sarah Mooney, and Alice Kilfoy; as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday. Funeral Mass to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at St. Peter's Parish, Ashford Drive. Cremation to follow. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
