July 23, 1956 - February 7, 2015
It is great sadness that the family of Sheila announce her passing on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 58 years. Predeceased by her parents Edward "Ted" and Barbara Gough and nephew Norman Nixon. Leaving to mourn brother Don (Olive); nephews George Gough of BC, and Todd Nixon of NL and a large circle of relatives and friends. Sheila was employed with the Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador for 37 years. She was also a long time member of the St. Pius X CWL. Special thanks to Dr. Marie O'Dea and Dr. Heather O'Dea, Dr. Melanie Seal, Dr. Brent Tompkins and Dr. Abayomi Olakunle Ogunyemi. Thank you also to the staff of the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. Cremation has already taken place and visitation to take place at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road St. John's, NL on Tuesday, February 10 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday February 11, 2015 from St. Pius X Parish, Smithville Cresent. Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Sheila's Memory to the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Centre or the Epilepsy Newfoundland and Labrador.
