The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, February 7, 2015, of Wilfred MacCormack, of North St. Eleanors, aged 73 years. Born in North St. Eleanors, he was the son of the late Oliver and Kathleen (Muirhead) MacCormack. Survived by his wife Rosella (Cameron) MacCormack; children Jamie, Fran (Allan) Gillis, Jason (Julia Cameron) and Jeremy; their chosen son Cory Ellis; grandchildren Aimee, Aaron and Jenna Gillis; Ethan and Chloe MacCormack; sisters Evelyn Lecky, Shirley Lord, Charlotte Smith, Phyllis (Jim) Parsons; brothers Angus (Rita), Winston (Linda); sister-in-law Isabelle MacCormack; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Frances MacCormack and two sisters in infancy; brothers Bradford Jr. and Clifton MacCormack; and by brothers-in-law Alex Lecky and Warren Lord. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will later take place in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors.
