Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, in her 67th year at the Health Sciences Centre, Feb. 9, 2015. Predeceased by her parents Theresa and Frank Long, sister Elizabeth Long Ennis and brothers, Francis and Edward Long, parents-in-law Bridget and Patrick J. Breen and sister-in-law Stella Breen Burry. Grieving her passing is her husband Patrick; sons: Patrick Junior (Annette), and Paul (Tabatha); and daughter Jennifer; siblings: Jane Stone Edgar, Georgina Long (Delores Flynn) and brother Paul Long (Marilyn). Remembering with love five loving grandchildren: Ethan, Julia, Patrick, Meghan and Lily Breen. Also, sisters-in-law, Carolyn Nolan (Robert), Sylvia Long and Isabelle Long, brothers-in-law, Paul Ennis, Robert Breen and Dean Burry. She is fondly remembered by a large circle of other family and friends, including Pleasant Avenue Dart Team and camping buddies at Gushue's Pond Park. Cremation to take place immediately with remains resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Mary Queen of the World Church on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.
