1937-2015
Passed away Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre, Charles Melvin Samuel Hollett at the age of 78. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Sharon, Shawn (Toby), Cheryl, Michael (Kimberly), Paul (Lisa), Darrell (Donna), Tracy (Joey); grandchildren: Christopher, Krystal (Russell), Ashley (Robbie), Andrea, Brandon, Alissa, Scott (Nicole & Zachery); great grandchildren: Carter and Wyatt; sisters: Mae Butt, Blackhead, CBN, Jenny Northcott, Carbonear, Marion Scherby, Ontario; as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doreen Gwendolyn, April 19, 2009; parents John and Edith Hollett; brothers: Allan, Cecil, Albert and sister Effie Samms. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Friday during the hours 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 14th at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Curling Street Pastor Wendy Lowden officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of NL www.alzheimer.ca.
