GIROUARD, ROSE-AIMÉE
1935 - 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, Rose-Aimée Girouard, on Thursday, February 12th, 2015, at the age of 79, surrounded by her family and friends, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB, on July 28, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alban and the late Elizabeth Girouard. We will remember her as a person who took great care in all tasks, be it sewing, cooking or any job she had at hand, a person with great generosity and with a unique sense of humour.

She is survived by three brothers: Noël and Léo, both of Ste-Marie-de-Kent and Paul of St-Antoine-de-Kent; two sisters: Huberte (Adélire) of St-Antoine-de-Kent and Marie of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; one brother-in-law, Toshioki Kaneko (late Jeanita) of Lunenburg, Mass, her nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews, that she adored; several cousins as well as many friends who were there for her during her illness.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Sr Bernadette Girouard ndsc and Jeanita Kaneko.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 at 7 pm.

Interment in the parish cemetery, Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB.
