Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on February 13, 2015 Grenfell Way, 12 days before his 89th birthday. Predeceased by his daughter Mona and son Dennis. Throughout his life he was known as an extremely hard worker who overcame numerous medical challenges to live a long fulfilling life. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 63 years Estelle, sons Barry (Karen), and Scott, daughter Darlene (Jason); grandchildren Blayre, Roark, Breigh, Emma and Mitchell, sister Bertha Genge (Montrose), sisters-in-law Sadie Way, Flowers Cove, Silvia Rose, Prince George BC, Betty Rose, St. Anthony, brothers-in-law Lloyd Rose (Gertie) Corner Brook, Clyde Rose (Maise) Sunnyside, special nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends. Family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of the Health Sciences Centre and the Staff at Chancellor Park. Resting at The Carnell Visitation and Reception Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl on Saturday February 14, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue at the United Church, Flowers Cove on Sunday evening February 15th and all day Monday February 16th.
